Suggested Approach

Materials:

- Vivid yellow nail polish

- Hot pink nail polish

- Cyan nail polish

- White nail polish

- Black nail art pen or thin brush

- Dotting tool

- Top coat

- Detailing nail art brush

Instructions:

Step 1: Shape nails into an almond shape and trim to medium length.

Step 2: Apply a base coat for protection.

Step 3: Paint the pinky, thumb, and pointer with vivid yellow polish. Paint the middle and ring fingers with cyan polish. Let dry.

Step 4: Using white polish and a detailing brush, paint speech bubbles on the middle and ring fingers.

Step 5: With a hot pink polish and detailing brush, write 'JOE' on the middle finger and 'MAMA' on the ring finger inside the speech bubbles. Outline the letters and speech bubbles with a black nail art pen for a comic look.

Step 6: On the thumb, add hot pink zig-zags radiating from the cuticle with a black outline.

Step 7: On the pointer, create bold black exclamation points outlined in white for contrast.

Step 8: On the pinky, draw a winking emoji face with white, black, and pink for the features.
